What if there were a way to get to know about all the feminine dragon names? Well there is! Here’s why: Women often feel uncomfortable talking to someone about their name. Most women in Japan were originally known as Nakane, however, since the name came into usage in the late 19th century and was associated with women of a samurai type, the term was later corrupted to use on Japanese male heroes.
Because of this, when in Japan, female fans often ask men to ask their friends who they are named after to give them the answer. For example, a young woman will be given the answer “I am named after the first female of my acquaintance who was originally named ‘Shima’.
With names like Miyamoto Munenori and Tsugumi Nagisa, the number of female heroes is growing fast in Japan and the world at large. As you will soon notice by seeing the blog, this trend has been taking more and more of people by storm. Also, as you will soon see, women get even more embarrassed as the number of their male heroes grows.
