The profile of the lovely Anzu. Okay, if you want the offical sound like profiles then I suggest you go here , I am going to write how I perceive her.

Anzu Mazaki, or Téa Gardner to the dubbed people, is the main female of the show. Her main role is to be there for her friends, mainly Yugi and Jou. She does know how to duel but she no way in the same league of Yugi, Joey, Mai etc. Her one dream is to go to New York and study dancing, which she rules at btw.

Personality wise, she has a very friendly nature but annoy her and you would know never to do that again ^^ She has a fiery spirit, yet at the same time she is always there for her friends, no matter what.

To me Anzu represents what a true human, a true friend should be. For the life of me, I cannot understand why people hate her so much. I mean, she could have so easily dumped Yugi and gone on to pursue her dream. She could have been thinking you know what; my life is always in danger because of you, so sod you I am off to become a dancer, but does she? No, she scarifies her own dreams and happiness for others. Heck, I have to admit I cannot even do that sometimes.

Her main role is not to duel. My goodness if everyone just duelled then there would not be a story line it would just be one duel after another. Many people claim she goes on about friendship too much…. And? So she goes on about how people should work together and care for one another. Oh my, such a crime! Such a horrible thing ne? (We can end the sarcasm here) Eh, sorry I always thought I would rather have the company and love of another than to end up alone… believe it or not even Kaiba has someone he loves and cares about… *Sigh* no not Jou, Mokuba.

But anyway, it is your own choice of whether to like her or not. I merely gave my opinion and you can believe what you want, we are all entitled to our own thoughts.

As for me, Anzu will always be one of my favourite female characters, she has such spirit and such a wonderful nature, and I rather wish I had a friend like her.
