Chappy 1

Tea was thinking hard...but not about someone...counting.

"And a 1 and a 2! And a 3 and a four and-NO! Tea! It's 1 and a 2 and a 3 e and a four e and a!" the Teacher shouted at Tea who kept messing up on her solo in band.

"I can do it! Really I can!" Tea said clutching her clarinet.

"Than show you can." the teacher wailed and motioned for the band to start playing again from the beginning.

Tea sighed and picked up her instrument.

My solo is coming up very soon. she thought and got ready.

"Miss Carter?" a British voice said right as Tea's solo was to start.

It was Ryou Bakura.

The teacher turned but was still directing.

Tea heard the voice and what meant to come out for her first note came out a big squeak.

Ryou jumped and the whole band stopped and stared at Tea.

Tea slid down in her seat.

Miss Carter shook her head and had the band start playing again.

Ryou walked out of the room after asking his question.

Dangit, why can't I do anything right today?? Tea screamed mentally.

"That was er...smooth." Ryou said coming up behind Tea.

"Wha? Oh Hi Ryou." she said blushing.

Ryou smiled at her.

"Yeah...heh heh...I hate band." Tea mumbled.

Ryou didn't say anything.

Finally he spoke.

"Tea, is something wrong?" he asked.

Oh jez....hes good....he figured out that I've been having problems lately. She thought and blushed harder.

"I-I-I-I guess..." she whispered.

Ryou nodded.

He knew Tea liked Yugi. I mean it was kinda obvious.

"Yugi...he...we..." Tea stuttered.

"Yugi, I-I-....hi." Tea said coming up behind Yugi.

"Wha? Oh hi Tea, I didn't see you there." Yugi said and smiled.

"You never see me. How can I get close if you don't see me?" Tea thought.

"Oh heres the bus, gatta go Tea bye!" Yugi said and ran onto it.

"Bye Yu-"

But he didn't even look back, and she was still an invisible figure.

Tea gazed after him and then became angry.

"If he won't even look at me or notice that I'm here...than I'm wasting my time." she thought as snow started to fall and hot tears ran down her cheeks.

There was no one to warm her in the winter.

"Oh Tea..."

"I'm over it. I'm sure he doesn't even know I'm not there." she whispered.

"Well I think he's blind if he can't see how beautiful you ar-" Ryou started but got cut off by the bus.

Ryou looked down.

"Sorry Tea, I have to leave. I'll see you tomorrow." he said quietly.

Tea nodded and looked at the falling snow.

There was still no one to warm her in the winter.

She ran home crying the whole way.

A few blocks from her house, she slipped on some ice but didn't bother to get up.

She fell asleep in the falling snow.
