Bakura, or if you prefer Ryou, sadly isn’t shown as much in the show *bawls* Ahem, anyway, his name is Bakura Ryou, but he is never called Ryou in either version but for the sake of the web mistress being lazy he is known as Ryou on this site.

Anyway, enough of that. If you watch the dub then you will know Ryou as being the lovely, shy sweet person from England. He is very shy and does not speak to the gang much, though this could be due to the ebil *cough sorry* evil Spirit of the Ring, which inhabits his body. We don’t know too much about him because more often than not, the spirit of the Ring, Yami no Bakura is in control of him and where as Yami no Yuugi and Yugi have a strong bond and mind link, Bakura often shuts the mind link with Ryou and also harms him sometimes. No, he does not beat Ryou up, I mean he has fetish for cutting himself.
