Tutorial Two

Get that "dirty yellow-red" coloring that a lot of iconers use.


Do not follow my tutorials exactly. Every image and screencap is different and you should experiment to get different results. Remember, this is only a guide.

Again, there are a lot of ways to do this kind of coloring. I'm just showing you one. Very short, isn't that great? LOL. Again, I'm using Photoshop CS2, but it is translatable to both Photoshop and Pain Shop Pro.

Brighten your screencap, or icon etc. how you want it.
01. Make a new layer, colorfill with #552d00. Set to Overlay; Opacity 40%
02. Make another layer, colorfill with #2a0f00. Set to Softlight; Opacity 70% Fill 50% 03. Make one last layer, colorfil with #ff5a00. Set to Colorburn; Opacity 40% Fill 20%

See? It wasn't that hard now was it? Like I said before, just experiment with different color layers and blend modes, and you get a lot of nice results. Just keep playing with it.
