"Oka-san?" Ume murmmed softly to her mother who was hugging her as though this would be the last time she would see her.
"Ume-chan can you go pick some flowers from that medow just out of town for me?" Sakura said smiling saddly at her daughter. Letting go of her.
"Okay oka-san." The soft Spoken child whispered. She picked up her Creme cloak and walked toward the hut door carrieing a basket in her hand.
Sakura sighed when as the child walked briskly out of the door and village. She didn't so much as look at the other childeren. Ume had never really tried to be friends with them. She was unusual for her age with an IQ of some one older than her mere five years and extremly quiet. She was made fun of by the others who did not understand her. The ice maiden shook her head and stared down the Infants in her arms one had teal hair the other spikey black but both had the same Unique shade of maroon eyes. The clan would be coming to dispose of her small family soon enough. She would not yet her oldest child Bear witness to the Horriable Consequence of her betrayl.
She heard a rap on the door. Tears leaked out as she stood walking towars her death.

'Wonder what oka-san was so sad about.' Thought Ume as she walked down the path , Not noticing that she had passed her destination. She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard a clap of thunder. The rain was now dripping down on her. She blinked and turned letting out a sigh when she relized that she had gotten lost. She spotted a cave up ahead. When she was inside she shivered and made her way to the back of the cave curling up against a corner. Her eyes drifted shut and her breath evened out. She was asleep.

A boy who looked about the age of eight ran a hand through his hair. Narrowing his eyes as he looked at the water which had landed in his hand. Gripping the tree branch as he got comfortable. He was obivuosly going to be here awhile. 'I'm not gonna say a thing it'll just tempt fate if i do.'He thought. He smirked eyeing the gems he'd stolen earlier. Then Pouted slightly when he saw that some were scuffed up. After about an hour the rain cleared up. It was the perfect time to go and scout around for intruders.

At the same time Ume shifted slowly opening her eyes. Instead of finding her cozy room she found darkness. It all came rushing back. Questions popped up. Her mother must be worried? how will she get back? Will she ever? What time is it? Where is she?. Her lips trembled as she tried to holded in Panicked Tears and Hysterics. She forced herself to stand up. Taking small steps till she reached the cave entrance it had stopped raining but it was probaly slippery. As for the time Judging by the sun it was about noon. She needed to get home before night fall or she would never get home at all. She turned to from the sun facing the north were she had most likely come from. She was calm now all she needed to do was stay level headed and avoid possibly dangerous situations. She cocked her head to the side as a blur of Dark brown and purple flashed past her the wind caused by it made her hair sway gently. "Hello um...Can you help me please?" She asked Quietly.

"..Please?" He retrased his steps till he was Back where he had heard the voice. It was girly and soft he had barely heard it at all. He blinked when he saw a girl shorter then him by Quite a few inches 'her hair is Pretty' He noted. It was a blend of teal,white and pink this resulted in a mystical hue of purple, her eyes were a pretty shade of light green and her skin was the color of porcelain. She was wearing a ice blue yukuta and sandals with a creme cloak. "Who are you?"He asked bluntly crossing his arms andtryingto intimidate her after all he was older then her so he can do that . 'what is a girl doing in his land she might contaminate it with her girlyness' He scrunched up his nose at the thought.
"I'm Ume and i uh um .........."
"Spit it out." He said.
"........."
He blinked and looked down at her. She was blushing and mumbling under her breath. He narrowed his eyes he wanted an answer now.....man he was hungry.
"Do you know where the Ice village is at I got lost and ended up here." She still wasn't looking up.
" Yeah come on I don't have all day get movin girl."
'' Wait Where are you taking me?!!" Ume cried suprised.
" To the ice village thats where you wanna go right?"
"Yeah."
"Okay then come on."
Half way through their Journey Ume collapsed so He had to carrie her they stopped close to the gate and he pushed her forward made sure she got inside of the village then turned and left to get some food grumbling about stupid girls all the way.

Ume flinched and averted her gaze. Why was every one stareing at her as though she where a disgrace. She sprinted home to get away from them and the looks. "Oka-san?" She called as she entered her one room hut. She let her eyes widen as she saw the head of the clan standing against the wall a crying child in her hands. The woman scowled at her and shoved the little one into Ume's arms startled Ume struggled not to drop it." The Brat is in your hands now Girl you are responsible for her now Your mother will not be coming back." With that the woman with light ice blue eyes and pinkish lavender hair turned on heel and stalked out. Leaving a shocked Girl and small Infant. Time went by and Ume got older along with the little girl who was now named yukina. Yukina is now seven and has her hair pulled back with a red ribbon and wears a light blue kimono and a pear of sandels, Ume kept her hair to just above her shoulders she wore a pink Yukuta with short sleeves it ended just above her knees and white lace sandels. Ume decided she'd take Yukina out of this Morbid Village to a place where Yukina'd be happy. She is finally and adult in the eyes of her village and can legally do that she's twelve. She packed up Yukina's stuff and took a confused Yukina's hand leading her to the place where her mother had always told her led off the island.
"Where are we going nee-san?" Asked Yukina.
" To your new home." Yukina took no notice of the fact the she said your not our and smiled happily.
After they were off the Island they landed Ume walked to the shrine were she beleived Yukina would be safe. Yukina awed by all the new colors and places as they walked up the steps. When they got to the top Ume placed hand on Her little sisters head and concentrated on erasing the childs memory. After no need to let the girl suffer from the burdan of memory. All she lft in the girls mind was her name Yukina. Then she left as a old woman walked out.
