I used to think that only professional artists get to say who they are and how they do things. But that’s not really true anymore. I think the media has kind of made the “Redguard” name popular and it has brought along with it confusion, criticism, and doubt. Most people are assuming these names, RedGuard.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 are professional artists and they are actually some of the most talented artists from around the world.
I think we should all celebrate those who have taken the Redguard name and created work that is world famous (and many other places). It shows that it does not have to be about an artist trying to get ahead or to make big money. There is no formula by which one must make a name for themselves in order to do well.
To me the media has failed to inform me of a lot of things because they are in the public domain. I am a student and I do not have a lot of contacts in this industry. Because of this lack of knowledge, I was so anxious about what people thought of the Redguard names. Not to mention the fact that I’m a student, I felt that I should have more information. That is why I want to share my insights on this matter by writing a blog.
As a lover of music, I always ask myself about names, because without names, we do not know who we are. I think it is a great idea to celebrate the artists of this name, be they professional or not. They are true masters of their craft and this brings up great questions.
Let me just say what I have written about before. Because of their name, I was so anxious, I did not pay attention to how it ended. I do not think that they were the only one who put themselves at a lot of risk. For example, they risked their lives and their well being when the bombs fell and destroyed their studio. My heart was bleeding for them. In the final days of their lives, I thought that I would say that our hero is gone.
When we talk about name brands we mean the names that will be used and accepted by the global audience. I think that it is important to do an analysis of the audience to understand what is important to them. Let me explain it with an example. Think back and tell me how many times you were inspired to record a song after reading a story about a singer known as The One.
