Did we mention this is a girl’s name? Well maybe it is a girl’s name and we may not see her name all the time in a dictionary and as a result we take the fact that it is a girl’s name for granted. This is a trend started by the girls and young girls themselves that are trying to change the world by pushing for women to use their power instead of letting the world run on men’s shoulders.
This is a great campaign by the Girl Scouts to encourage girls to use the strength of their voice to put the power back into the hands of women. I like this because I feel it is empowering girls to speak and talk to other young girls. But then the girls get to the point where they cannot defend a statement that they have just been called a name. Sometimes this is the name of the girl’s favorite author or actor, and other times it is a real bullying attempt for a name.
If you have been called something by a name, it is important for you to recognize that this action was a deliberate attempt to disrespect your intelligence, self respect, or power by an individual that you are in relationships with. If you want to change the world, you must stand for what you have come to believe and have been led to believe; a woman being a woman. Be your own person. No one else can give you the confidence to have authority over your life.
Sometimes your name is a name you heard from your favorite movie, game, TV show, political leader, etc. You can be the best person you can be if you are independent. Always be an example in the comments section here.
Women are so quick to be aggressive. They expect us to act as if we are in it for the money while they think we are buying their stuff to look pretty and to be part of the family. That way it seems that we never have to say our honest feelings or stand on a principles.
Just like a real relationship, the first step for a woman to become her own person is admitting that she is in relationships with certain men. That way she sets the right boundaries, keeps her expectations reasonable and sets up the conditions where she will feel loved and supported. This will not come overbearing or judgmental, instead it will be the beginning of an authentic relationship that will help her grow in a healthy relationship. This will also teach her how to handle criticism.
The word used to express this concept is trust and respect. Now that you know what we mean by trust and respect, I am sure you are ready to make a commitment to the word of truthfulness.
