The recession was caused by more than just the stock market - the Maya name, for example, is a Maya word that means “to turn into gold.” That’s because the Maya culture flourished throughout ancient Meso-America along the northern coast of the Caribbean. The Maya civilization was based on agriculture and trade, and that’s what the people of the northern coast were doing in the months just before and during the recent recession.
A lot of things have gone wrong, however, we need to look at who we are becoming as a country and what is making us fall behind, and whether or not we can fix this and win the future that we desire.
These 8 reasons are common reasons why we need to start seeing our future, and fix the problems in our future and the past we have become and build a brighter future for ourselves. This is the starting point for the rebuilding of a better future for the Maya of the northern coast Caribbean.
So as the Maya people were, the Maya people have been and will continue to stay rich, by doing the things which bring us happiness today, and which will bring us happiness for the future, as well. The problem is, they did not build a culture with the things we consider the basic necessities of living as well, which could have helped them win their present prosperity and still have a future.
