About Imaginative Love

Why did I make such a shrine for this highly unusual pairing? How did this site come to life?

It is because I love Kurama and Kagome to death! At first, the idea weirded me out, and I haven't seen or read Yu Yu Hakusho at the time. Most importantly, I was stuck on Sesshoumaru/Kagome fanfics.

For me, anime was limited and so I had never really seen Yu Yu Hakusho. That was one reason I didn't read the crossover fics. I was thinking, "Why would read about someting I've never seen? I wouldn't get it because I don't know the storyline." I was wrong. In some fics, they gradually explained the storyline of YYH, but I also looked things up in Google searches.

I was bored one day, and nothing had caught my interest. It's blurry, but I believe that I wanted to try one Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho crossover, and I got hooked right after the first one. After reading a few more Kurama and Kagome fanfiction, my limited anime grew and I was able to watch Yu Yu Hakusho. It is now one of my favorites.

I don't remember, but I really liked this pairing after my first Kurama and Kagome fic. I don't really remember which one it was, but I believe it was 'Crush" by Amaterasu Omikami. I am pretty sure that it was 'The Strongest Ties' by Sylvannastar that made me LOVE the Kurama x Kagome pairing.

Before reading a crossover fic, I was obsessed with joining Yahoo! Groups for the manga 'Full moon wo Sagashite. I was looking for scanlations and succeded. After finding the best Full Moon scanlations Yahoo! Group, I decided that I really liked Yahoo! Groups.

I wanted to read more Kurama x Kagome fanfiction, so I looked in search engines. Nothing. Then, I tried in Yahoo! Groups, and to my surprise, I find the Kagome_Kurama Romance Yahoo! Group! Being obsessed with it, I happily joined.

At the time, Yume, my older sister, wasn't there and I was only with my little brother. I didn't tell anyone I liked Kurama x Kagome because the last thing I wanted was to be weird. Later, Yume was able to get internet and talked to me by MSN messenger. I told her that I had liked Kurama. I liked him a LOT.

I think it was the next day, I'm not positive, but Yume had given me a link to a site with only pictures of Kurama! I was in love! xD My obsession with Kurama gradually grew, and now he is one of my number one bishounen ans still is!

Because I loved Kurama so much, Kurama x Kagome were and are the only fics I read and love. I avoid Yusuke/Kagome because I adore the Yusuke/Keiko, and Hiei, well, I just avoid those. I don't hate them; I just avoid them. Besides I now support the Hiei and Mukuro pairing! I want to stay with only Kurama/Kagome. It's what I want. Everybody has their preferences, right?

After being a member for a while, I wanted to make a site. When it was first up, I was lost. I didn't know what I was doing. My HTML skills were poor and I only had 56k. How could I work with that? Especially when I had AOL. It was hard to work with.

My Photoshop skills were also poor and so I had a difficult time making the layout. Being such a poor worker in Photoshop, I was satisfied with what I made. When my skills got better, I didn't like it as much. You could say I hated it.

Later, things changed. We moved and got DSL. Yume taught me new things in Photoshop and I used them. Being such a devoted fan, I wanted to work on the site. This time I had my sister help me! Yume and I worked together to make version two of imaginative love.

Yume decided to help because she was being the nice big sister she is. Her HTML skills are a lot better than mine. That is why the site looks so much more advanced than it in the previous versions

Yume isn't as big a fan of Kurama x Kagome as I am, but she does her best to make Imaginative Love look real good. We love the fact that there are people who adore this site, and that makes us very, very happy!

Right now, Kurama x Kagome is really bringing out my fluffy side. =_= I'm not sure if that is good or not. I would say that this pairing has topped all of my favorites. It might be a long while until I lose my obsession with it, but that's good news.

That's how it all started. Boredom, but I am very happy that I fell in love with this pairing. It has insipired me to write and also draw again. Others might not like this pairing, but it has done so much for me that I will always love it.

Right now on version five, I believe that is has an angsty feeling to it. That's how I view the relationship anyways! I mean, see how their lives have changed? Kurama's life changed because of Youko, and Kagome's changed because of the Shikon no Tama.

What they really need is someone who will understand them and stay by their side without questioning each other.
